Fifth Grade is really thinking…

 

Here you see an example of a work of art by the french artist Rachid Khamoune. These turtles that seem to be crawling toward the Eiffel tower like moths to a flame are made of plaster casts of army helmets from different countries. Fifth graders were asked to consider this artwork and what the artist might mean to say. Now they have been asked to take a similar approach to an idea that is important to them. Updates will follow as the artwork rolls off the presses 🙂
